About Me/ The Site
My name is Dylan Nelson. I live in Spokane, Washington and am a currently a student. My hobbies are writing and gaming. Gaming will be the most prominent item for discussion on this blog. In fact it’ll be the only object of discussion, though I do try to put as much humor as I can into what I write. Sometimes for school I’ll write fiction stories, and if I think they’re good, I may just post them up here on the blog. The site will be updated at least once a week with lists, reviews, and anything else I can shove in here. Thanks for visiting, and I hope you enjoy your stay.
How the reviews work:
Numbered scores have been around for a while, and I don’t think that they should necessarily go away. I do believe though, that they can become convoluted, and nobody really knows whether or not to buy a game that gets a 7, and everybody ignores games that get below a 7, even though 4-6’s are in a limbo of possibly being “rents”.
I’ve opted instead to just post a recommendation at the bottom of every review, and that recommendation will decree: “Buy”, “Rent”, or “Ignore”. If you really need numbers though, I suppose you can just imagine that Buy = 3, Rent = 2, and Ignore = 1. What ever suits your fancy. I hope that this scheme will be a much simpler way of getting the point across, as opposed to giving a game a 7.5.
